With over 20 years of experience in Project Management and an affinity for dodgeball, Duane was the clear choice to take on the role of President at the WDBF when elections were held in 2016. Prior to his appointment, Duane was the main point of contact and unifying force among the provincial organizations under Dodgeball Canada as well as an executive and founding member of the WDBF.
Duane holds a masters degree in Business Administration and boasts many successes in his extensive career as a business and process improvement consultant. This experience is likely one of the reasons he is praised for his clear and considerate communication style both on and off the court.
Brian Li is the current Deputy President of the World Dodgeball Federation, and has been active on the board since 2012. He is also the founder and sports commissioner for the Hong Kong Dodgeball Association. He has been playing competitive dodgeball since 2006, and has won a gold medal at the WDBF World Championships (2012) as captain of the HK Men’s team, and now currently serving as head coach for both the Hong Kong men’s and women’s team.
Outside of dodgeball, Brian is a successful entrepreneur, with active businesses ranging from the biotech/medical industry to sports industry.
Elected in 2019, Pierre started jumping around on the dodgeball court in 2010. After founding the local Gothenburg team and coaching as well as playing in the Swedish national team, Pierre was appointed VP of the European Dodgeball Federation.

Armando Valdes is the treasurer of the World Dodgeball Federation, focused on introducing and developing the sport in Mexico and Latin America. He also currently serves as president of the Mexican Dodgeball Federation and is a cofounder of the Latin American Dodgeball Association. Armando was born in Mexico and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a serial entrepreneur, having started several companies in the United States and in Europe. HIs experience in dodgeball includes several years playing Elite at the national level in the United States, and representing Mexico at the World Championships.
Nicole brings a variety of business skills to the Executive Committee for the WDBF. Professionally, she manages Business Development for an Ad Tech startup, with expertise in Data, Strategy, and eCommerce.
Nicole has been playing dodgeball competitively since 2009, internationally since 2011, and was the captain of the women’s USA team from 2012 until 2017. She managed a co-ed dodgeball league in Los Angeles between 2010 and 2013, and in 2016 moved to Paris, France, where she joined the France Dodgeball Association, eventually becoming the coach of the women’s national team in 2018. In 2017, Nicole joined the WDBF Executive Board, and USA Dodgeball’s International Relations Committee as Co-Chair.
