CSIT
International Workers & Amateurs Sports Confederation
We are pleased to announce that the WDBF has renewed its partnership with the International Workers & Amateurs Sports Confederation (CSIT) and will be bringing dodgeball to the CSIT World Sport Games this September in Emilia Romagna, Italy.
CSIT is an international multi-sports organization, founded 1913 in Ghent/Belgium and based on the historic ideas of the international labor movement. Within the last decades, CSIT has reoriented to become a broad-based Sport for All confederation. By organizing major sports events worldwide, establishing international networking platforms, engagement in EU projects and developing educational programs CSIT is led by one guiding principle: Spirit of Sports – Spirit of Unity.
The World Sport Games are a major multi-sports event held every two years, full of sports, sport for all, cultural exchange, fun and new opportunities. These Games are not multisport games for top athletes, but for all amateurs from different countries and cultures all over the world. Not only is the organisation of competitions in the foreground, but also organizing a huge festival with the spirit of the beautiful region Emilia-Romagna at the famous Adriatic Sea coast. The objectives are the gathering of sports friends, as a worldwide family to advance making friends as well as the exchange of information, expertise and experiences within the multi-sport community of CSIT and its partners.
TAFISA
The Association For International Sport For All
The WDBF is proud to be a member of TAFISA. The WDBF’s membership was formally approved at the recent General Assembly held during the 26th TAFISA World Congress on 15th November, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
As the leading international Sport for All organization, TAFISA is in the privileged position to bring joy, health, social interaction, integration and development to communities and citizens around the globe through the promotion of Sport for All and physical activity.
TAFISA has over 300 member organizations in more than 170 countries on all continents. They actively cooperate with other global change-makers, including the UN, WHO, UNESCO, the IOC, ICSSPE and others, in their mission to achieve an Active World.
The WDBF looks forward to progressing the sport of Dodgeball with TAFISA and its other members in the years to come!
Gay Games 11 – Hong Kong 2022
Federation of Gay Games
In a press release published on 9 June 2019, the Federation of Gay Games (FGG) together with the Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022’s management team announced today the 36 sports which will be offered at the event hosted in Hong Kong in November 2022. For the first time in the history of the Gay Games, E-Sports and Dodgeball are among the sports to be included in the final sports list.
Since 1982, the FGG mission promotes equality and is the largest sport and culture event in the world open to all. Its legacy changes social, and political attitudes towards LGBT+ people through the core principles of “Participation, Inclusion and Personal Best™”. The Gay Games was conceived by Dr. Tom Waddell, an Olympic decathlete, and was first held in San Francisco in 1982. Subsequent Gay Games are San Francisco (1986), Vancouver (1990), New York (1994), Amsterdam (1998), Sydney (2002), Chicago (2006), Cologne (2010), Cleveland+Akron (2014), and Paris (2018).
World Corporate Games

The World Dodgeball Federation is pleased to be the current sanctioning body for dodgeball in the Corporate Games, and to have worked with the Continental Corporate Games in Canada to develop a plan for the introduction of dodgeball to this international community.
Founded in 1988 the Corporate Games are the world’s largest multisport festivals for businesses with great sports and fabulous celebrations for everyone to enjoy regardless of their age, ability or level of fitness.
All events offer participants and organisations team building, brand promotion, workplace health & wellbeing, increased productivity & staff morale , networking, new business leads, friendships, but most importantly, fitness and fun.
